Doug Cheetham

Partner | BCom FCA

Doug became a Partner at Wrights Chartered Accountants in 1993. With more than 40 years of experience, he has demonstrated proficiency in helping people to successfully run their own business.

He sees it as a privilege to be a trusted advisor and to work alongside business owners and operators to provide sound advice for business growth.


Doug specialises in providing advice to organisations in the building and construction industry, medical and professional practices as well as registered clubs. His passion is to provide strategic financial expertise and advice in the areas of business turnarounds and developments.


Doug is a Registered Company Auditor and Financial Planner.



Chris Garrett

Partner | BBus CA

Chris joined the team at Wrights Chartered Accountants in 2000 having previously worked with organisations such as BHP and Westpac. With a keen interest in Information Technology, Chris is our Practice computer guru.



His logical thinking and penchant for problem solving means that Chris loves to create innovative solutions for his clients by approaching things from different directions.


He has specialist knowledge in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and is a registered Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor. He is also a specialist in taxation advice.





Anthony de Jager

Partner | BCom CPA

With an accounting career that spans more than 18 years, Anthony has been with Wrights Chartered Accountants since 2006 and as a Partner of the firm since 2008.


He has solid experience in working alongside business owners to review and adapt financial strategies for growth. His passion lies in growing businesses profits. Starting by analysing a business and establishing a realistic cash flow breakeven point for the business he then works with the organisation to develop relevant strategies and KPI's to achieve growth.


His aim with any client is to be a trusted business partner and to bring a fresh perspective to the financials with a long term view of continually taking the business to the next level.


Anthony has specialist knowledge in wholesale distribution and transport industries, budget and cost control, self-managed superannuation funds. He is a Financial Planner and a registered Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor.


Nichole Cupitt

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT | BFin CA

Nichole is positive, informative and full of useful tips from years of experience in the taxation, compliance and the self-managed superannuation fund fields.



Nichole joined Wrights Chartered Accountants in 2005. During this time she has established relationships with a wide range of clients including businesses in retail, manufacturing and service industries as well as primary producers.


As a fun way to break up the day she also audits and prepares self-managed superannuation funds. This is an ever changing landscape that keeps her on her toes.





Kelly Wade

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT | BCom CA

Kelly established a solid professional foundation early on in her career with experience in a BRW Top 100 accounting firm. Having practiced accounting since 2005, Kelly joined the team at Wrights Chartered Accountants in 2010 and is an integral member of the team.


With strong technical expertise, she has a passion for helping small business and a real flair for solving tricky problems such as making sense of tax and superannuation law. She always aims to make the complex simple and will always take the time to get to know business owners personally rather than just their numbers.


Kelly has specialist knowledge in advising small to medium business on self-managed superannuation, income tax, primary production, capital gains tax and business structures.




Dan Wade

AUDIT SUPERVISOR | BCom CPA

Dan is a Registered Company Auditor and  has practiced as an Accountant since 2005. He worked across audit, assurance and taxation. Having previously worked in local Government as a Management Accountant, he has had the unique experience on both sides of the audit process and can apply 'double-sided' thinking for the benefits of his clients.


Dan joined the team at Wrights Chartered Accountants in 2013. He prides himself on keeping up-to-date with technical expertise and incorporating that knowledge into finding solutions for his clients.


Having a first-hand experience in the workings of a business, he loves nothing more than visit clients on premise and work with them to complete their reporting obligations.


Dan specialises in internal and external audits, self-managed superannuation, income tax and management accounting.


 

   
Jack Dunn


GRADUATE ACCOUNTANT | BBus

Prior to starting his Accounting career at Wrights, Jack worked at McDonalds for five and a half years. As well as holding a Bachelor of Business, he has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, a Diploma in Accounting and a Certificate IV in Accounting.

When Jack isn't crunching the numbers he's watching sport and is interested in gaming. 







   

Yasmin Brown


TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT


Yasmin grew up in Campbelltown in Western Sydney and moved to Port Macquarie with her family in 2002, when they purchased a small business. Yasmin became interested in Accounting when she was seeking a career change and enrolled with Swinburne Online in 2014.

Yasmin has been with Wrights Chartered Accountants since March 2016 as a Trainee Accountant. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) through Swinburne University Online and has a strong background in retail. 

When Yasmin isn't studying she enjoys reading, craft/sewing, watching comedy movies, cooking and playing round with her Jack Russell dogs.


   
Maria Johnson

ADMINISTRATION AND BOOKKEEPER

Maria holds Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and has worked for over 20 years in bookkeeping in the construction industry in Sydney. 
 
In Maria's spare time she loves to swim, bike, run, surf and ski and is regular participant in triathlons. 








   
Sue Hanson

ACCOUNTANT | BTax

Sue holds a Bachelor of Tax and a Graduate Diploma Vocational Education and Training. 

For the last six years Sue taught Accounting programs at the Hunter Institute of TAFE and Newcastle University. 

Prior to teaching, Sue worked in public practice and operated her own practice.

Away from work Sue is interested in gardening, history and music. She also has a keen interest in environmental issues and architecture.
